About Me

I started Wing Light Art Designs Candle Shop to share my love of painting with the world as well as sell non toxic, soy candles that smell amazing and are sustainable products. All are Made in the US and can be recycled! I then began creating all kinds of products from my artwork. I have another website for my paintings (originals and prints) that you are welcome to visit!

Drawing and painting began for me in preschool like everyone else, but I developed a passion for art in high school. My first love was architecture, which I pursued at Arizona State University (Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture and Design) only to find that I was not fulfilled by drafting alone all of the time. I went from ASU to Hollywood and pursued acting, singing, and modeling which consumed my 20’s and advocating for the intellectual property rights of the major Hollywood studios consumed my 30’s. I continued to paint and draw throughout my 20-year career in the entertainment industry, but the jobs I had were not artistically creative enough. Cue the birth of Wing Light. 🥰🦋 My 40's have been an adventure of finding my voice as a painter, experimenting and creating works that represent the incredibly rich life experience I have.

About my ART:

Clearly, I love to do watercolors and all things holiday but what you may not know is that I am a serious painter who works mostly in acrylics on canvas with a mind for technical, complicated geometry and gold.. lots of gold. :) Surprise!

“I have a profound respect for artistic transcendence through mythology. My art takes me places I never knew existed and is representative of many different techniques. My technical pieces are based on religious symbols, gods and sacred images. I am inspired by people, books, yoga, researching world religions, spiritual symbols, their dimensionality, histories, and the emotions they evoke in me. My abstracts are emotional and help me let go of the tedium of the technical pieces. I function out of both sides of my brain so that dichotomy is the most cathartic creative process for me as an artist.”
